Very pleased with the service - we ordered the battery on a Saturday, and on SUNDAY got a shipment notice. That meant that someone had taken the initiative to drop the battery in the mail and send us a notice about it.As a result we got it within a few days. We were very pleased.
No good. Will not hold a charge, must recharge every night. By the end of the day, not enough charge left to make a call. Worse than the old one that it replaced.
I was a little concerned by the quality of the packaging. The battery, however, works just fine. It provides equivalent life to the OEM battery I had before.
Hope this holds a charge longer than the original battery. It had to be recharged almost every day to maintain full power. My older Nokia cell phone holds a full charge for weeks at a time.
I needed a replacement battery for my V170 and found that buying a Tracfone C139 phone on sale for $12.99 was a better idea, and Walmart sells them online for $12.88. The battery that comes standard with this phone is a new Motorola SNN5749A (the same as the V170), manufactured within the last year, and if your V170 quits working you have the C139 to use as a backup phone. It also has a travel charger (plug-in, thinner profile, and prongs that fold-in) versus the bulky one that came with the V170 and it works with both the V170 and C139. Just my opinion after looking everywhere for just the battery and getting frustrated that Motorola wanted $39.99 for an OEM battery on their web site.
